This program will focus on Chapter 14 of the International Building Code and Chapters 3 & 7 of the International Residential Code. These chapters focus on requirement of exterior wall covering systems including cladding. The program highlight how these chapters help to regulated products for weather protection including a focus on water and wind performance. In addition, the program will also highlight fire safety requirements in these sections of the code. Finally, the program will help participants understand the relationship between the code requirements and sustainability.
