This module covers all the details of bracing a single-family home’s walls for wind loads below 140 mph. All details within IRC Section R602.10 are covered as well as introducing the requirements of Section R602.12, Simplified Wall Bracing. Braced wall lines, braced wall panels, determining minimum bracing required, adjusting required bracing and connection to floors and roofs is discussed. No seismic procedures are covered within this module.
