This course, which is based on the 2021 IBC Means of Egress publication, addresses numerous provisions within the 2021 International Building Code (IBC) where the Code contains requirements pertaining to establishing a means of egress in commercial buildings.

Participants will be presented with information, diagrams, and activities to problem solve through topics pertaining to the provisions of the 2021 IBC specific to doors and door hardware.

This course is intended to help building inspectors, building officials, plans examiners, accessibility inspectors, and anyone seeking to build a career to identify those areas where plan review will include compliance with the IBC.
