Kaveh Aminian, P.E. is principal of Aminian and Associates, a consulting company assisting the building industry with structural design, quality assurance and life safety challenges. He has more than 30 years of experience in design and regulatory environment and is a lecturer at University of Washington Construction Management department. He has developed and delivered numerous technical training for ICC, WABO (Washington Association of Building Officials) and the City of Seattle. He holds a Master and Bachelor of Science from University of Washington and he is a member of International Code Council.

Jerry Abson is a Structural Building Inspector with the City of Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections, with extensive knowledge of building codes, construction methods and standards. 20 years professional experience in structural inspection and materials testing including both residential and commercial structures involving most building materials, including concrete, post-tensioned concrete, shotcrete, masonry, structural steel, and fireproofing. Instructor for Northwest Council of Engineering Laboratories (NWCEL). Member of the American Concrete Institute. Member of the WABO Special Inspection Registration Advisory Board and WABO Firestop Committee.
