This publication presents the recommended method for the design and fabrication of flat plywood sandwich panels. Working stresses and other design criteria are given in the Plywood Design Specification (PDS). The recommended design method is based on recognized engineering formulas, further developed by the United States Forest Products Laboratory, and refined and verified in a series of tests reported in APA – The Engineered Wood Association
