2021 IFC Significant Changes (Online Live)

The Significant Changes to the International Fire Code® 2021 Edition class is to familiarize fire officials, building officials, plans examiners, fire inspectors, design professionals, and others with the many important changes in the 2021 International Fire Code® (IFC®). This class will assist code users in identifying the specific code changes that have occurred and, more important, assist them in understanding the reasoning behind the changes. It is also a valuable resource for jurisdictions in their code-adoption process. This class provides an overview of critical concepts included in the Significant Changes to the International Fire Code® 2021 Edition. The participants will learn the correct use of the code’s requirements in the design, plan review, inspection and analysis of projects. They will apply the code in clear-cut situations and build their understanding of the intent of the code when asked to make compliance decisions.
