Saudi Fire Code 801 - Essentials

This self-paced course will provide an introduction to the SBC 801 Fire Code. The course will cover application of the SBC 801 administrative requirements, occupancy classification, general precautions against fire, emergency planning and preparedness, fire service features, interior finish, decorative materials and furnishings, fire protection systems, means of egress, and provide an introduction to hazardous materials. Activities and discussions will further enhance participant learning. Additionally, this course will provide a clear understanding of the identified requirements that will allow the code user to apply the SBC 801 in the design and implementation of the code provisions and help to build an understanding of the intent of the code. This course will also help the code user to correctly locate code requirements. It will address the organization of the code and how it relates to other parts of the SBC. The goal of this seminar is for participants to identify the critical concepts of the SBC 801regarding the applicable designs of commercial building requirements.
