This course provides the Residential Plumbing Code (8 hour) and OSHA safety training (10 hour) requirements for the Tradesman and/or Journeyman Texas plumbing exam. 

Course Objectives

  1. Explain the general plumbing regulations in the International Residential Code. 
  2. Demonstrate relevant math, blueprint, and construction document reading. 
  3. Describe the basics of backflow prevention, system sizing, as well as boring & notching. 
  4. Describe the basics of recognizing, avoiding, and preventing workplace hazards.
