Today’s national model codes contain provisions that encourage the conservation of water through the administration of the codes but are limited in the content that promotes the reuse of water. This presentation addresses what water reuse provisions currently exist as well as what model code provisions will need to be modified to break down the barriers that exist in order to make codes a stronger promoter for the reuse of water.
