This class will cover how to classify hazardous materials in accordance with the International Fire Code. We will discuss how to use the maximum allowable quantity table in Chapter 50 in order to properly determine the occupancy classification and the proper use and storage requirements for various hazardous materials.

  • Describe the difference between Health and Physical Hazards according to the fire code.
  • Explain how to classify hazardous materials per the fire code.
