Firestopping Requirements in the IBC provides code officials with a practical overview of the International Building Code requirements for maintaining fire-resistance-rated construction. The course examines through penetrations, fire-resistant joints, and perimeter fire containment systems; the ASTM and UL test standards used to evaluate these conditions; required firestop ratings; and IBC inspection and special inspection requirements.
