Fire Alarm Plan Review (Live In-Person)

This course will provide code officials, fire alarm designers and installers with the necessary knowledge to design, review, and install a fire alarm system to ensure compliance with the International Fire Code, International Building Code, and NFPA 72. Topics to be discussed during this full day class will include: fire alarm submittal and documentation requirements, fire alarm system fundamentals, including sequence of operation requirements as outlined in NFPA 72; proper placement and installation of initiating devices and notification appliances; discuss requirements pertinent to emergency voice alarm communication systems and when they are required by the codes; review supervising station requirements addressing how alarm signals should be sent from the protected premises to the supervising station.
