AC434 establishes guidelines for evaluation of passive faber-reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) and steel reinforced grout (SRG) composite systems used to strengthen existing masonry (i.e concrete masonry blocks, clay bricks and natural stone including tuff masonry) and concrete structures. Properties evaluated under this criteria include FRCM/SRG material properties; axial, flexural and shear capacities of the FRCM/SRG system; performance of the FRCM/SRG system under environmental exposures; performance under exposure to fire conditions; and structural design procedures.
