AC223 establishes guidelines for evaluation of two-part polyurethane adhesives used to attach gypsum board to wood framing without the use of mechanical fasteners. The gypsum board may be attached to interior wood-framed partitions, ceilings and trusses, and the interior face of wood frame exterior load-bearing and nonload-bearing walls with structural sheathing on the exterior face of the walls.
