AC16 establishes guidelines for evaluation of plastic glazed skylights, and provides additional information to clarify the requirements of the IBC, IRC and documents referenced by those codes. This criteria is applicable to the evaluation of fixed or operable skylights, with plastic glazing and frames and sash members of wood, steel, plastic and homogeneous (not thermally broken, poured-and-debridged members) aluminum construction.
