This class reviews and analyzes selected structural significant changes from the 2018 to the 2021 edition of the International Building Code (IBC). This presentation examines revisions to the IBC structural provisions, including loads, material requirements, special inspection and deep foundation design. The seminar assists building officials, plans examiners, inspectors and engineers in identifying specific structural code changes and understanding the reasoning behind the changes. The program is based on the ICC publication Significant Changes to the International Building Code, 2021 Edition.
