This class overviews the changes from the 2018 to the 2021 IBC®. Identifies changes in organization and code requirements and the applicability of these requirements to design, plan review and inspection. This class uses the Significant Changes to the International Building Code, 2021 Edition. The goal of 2021 IBC Significant Nonstructural Changes is to familiarize building officials, fire officials, plans examiners, inspectors, design professionals, contractors, and others in the construction industry with many of the important changes in the 2021 International Building Code® (IBC®). The publication is designed to assist those code users in identifying the specific code changes that have occurred and, more important, understanding the reason behind the change.
