After 3 years from issuance of the Credential of Learning Achievement (CLA), a minimum of 0.3 CEUs (3 hours of training) on the subject of ISPSC Design, Installation, and Inspection Principles from ICC is required to renew the Pool and Spa CLA. This course satisfied that requirement. For more information on the Credential of Learning Achievement Program https://www.iccsafe.org/professional-development/cla/
Note on Renewal with ICC Pool and Spa Training: The Pool and Spa Credential of Learning Achievement (CLA) consists of 1 module and divided into 3 parts, which all participants are required to take to renew.
This self-paced, online CLA renewal refresher course is a stand-alone course that provides an overview of the key information for Pools and Spas, but can also be used for CEU accrual (0.3 CEU) and as a general overview training for all professionals regardless of their CLA status. Learners will explore the compliance of standard requirements for pool and spa safety features such as enclosures, latching, diving boards, suction protection, equipment design, installation, functionality, sanitation, and disposal based on the 2018 ISPSC. The contents of this course have been developed in partnership with the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA).
